Hello, and welcome to Southern Oregon Self-Defense and Training. We are about to embark on a journey to better yourself by building self-esteem and confidence. We live in an ever-changing world and safety is becoming more of a concern. Sometimes we are faced with situations that require us to defend ourselves. My question to you is: “Are you prepared to defend yourself?” Self-defense training can increase your chances of defending, avoiding, or preventing a dangerous situation.
Our focus will be on natural body movement that most people revert to in a stressful or traumatic situation, which will decrease the amount of thought, and time needed to react to a dangerous situation. This does not require you to learn a style or art to protect yourself. Our goal is to give you skills you can use, instead of complicated techniques, which are difficult to recall in a stressful situation.
Our courses are designed to give you knowledge, and to guide you through understanding situations and making proper decisions. The physical portion of our curriculum was designed with the understanding that everyone will not have the same body type, strength level, or ability. Our self-defense instructors tailor our curriculum to each need and ability so that you can reach your full potential.
Our staff will guide you through a structured course with your safety as our primary concern.
